These are pictures taken from a dump site in Mandurriao, Iloilo.
Since I am not a photographer, I did not use any technique nor can I remember the type of camera used to capture the following images.
Anyway, I hope you like them nonetheless. :)



Kids working in the dump site are very common. 
Usually they work alongside their parents or build partnership with fellow kids.


This is Mr. Norman Dequina, Chairperson of KAISOG, Inc.


It rained the day before so the place was rather muddy, making it difficult for garbage trucks to climb the heap of trash. Here, a boy waits patiently for the truck and the morning's collection.


Old women are not spared, they too suffer.



For others, the dump site is not only an "office" but a playground and home as well.
Here we see kids playing while on "break".


Here we can see people from the dump site community going around like it's business as usual.

This boy was eating breakfast. :) He got conscious when he saw the camera so he turned his back.
Most people are not comfortable being photographed in this area so it's a little hard to capture great moments.




It's a family thing. :)
Here we see a typical family that works together in the dump site.
Most of them are quite comfortable, oblivious with the smell and filth surrounding them.
